My darling, Wherever you are when it is my time I will find you. I will never stop loving you. We have had 45 wonderful years together and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. We were so lucky to have found each other. Thank you for your constant devotion. Paul, we will always remember you for your generosity and friendship. You went the extra mile for us. Always a gentleman in the true sense of the word, your humour and ready smile , your generosity of spirit and your bravery in adversity all confirm that you were a gift to this earth and to all who knew you. May God give you comfort and peace. You will never be forgotten.
I remember you at derwentside college. You put me on the road for the rest of my life working in kitchens. You ignited the passion in me to work hard at what i loved. The silver of vegetables you flung across the kitchen at me woke me up! You made such a lasting impression. Oh how the years pass by there has been often a passing memory of you and working with you. Saddened by knowledge you passed on, you meant so much to so many. RIP Paul
